4702 Some Things I Don't Unserstand

 

I don’t understand…

--How it took the various military and pseudo-military leaders at the Capitol Building so many hours to push their requests for help up the chain of command and how it took the permissions so long to work their way down.

 

At Senate testimony, it became clear that in a similar situation some time ago, the process worked much faster. The only difference in the earlier event… it was a Black Lives Matter protest. 

 

I don’t understand…

--How the Party of White Power intends to remain in power without broadening its appeal when the country’s becoming more diverse with every passing birth.

 

I don’t understand…

--How the constitutional geniuses on the White Power party-dominated US Supreme court can sit there with the copies of the constitution in front of them and take steps to reduce the number of people allowed to vote in case after case.

 

Or how they managed not to notice the “well regulated militia” part of the second amendment when dealing with gun rights.

 

I don’t understand...

--Where the line is.  Cuomo ran his mouth inappropriately at three women, or so they say. Now there are calls for his resignation.  Where is the border between dumb insensitivity and a firing offense?

 

One woman accuses the governor of giving her an unwanted kiss on the lips.  That may be the straw that puts him on the street.

 

What also may is that all the harassment stuff combined with his hiding nursing home Covid death figures to make him look like more of a national leader than he is.

 

I don’t understand…

--How “Coyotes” smuggling illegal immigrants from Mexico can pack 25 people into an SUV designed to carry eight. One crashed with a freight truck on a California highway earlier this week and killed 13 people.

 

I don’t understand…

--Why limping Fox Cable News is devoting more airtime to Mr. Potatohead and Dr. Seuss than it is to the riot at the US Capitol.

 

Also… Why anyone still watches the Fox Cable News channel now that its Golden Calf has been melted down to ingots and sold to end-timers.

 

Or how Fox Cable News’s Sean Hannity couldn’t make the final cut and graduate from Adelphi College on Long Island.

 

Or what Fox Cable News will do when it’s downtrending ratings reach only escapees from Bellevue.

 

I don’t understand…

--The meaning of the “Check Engine” light.

 

Or

--Why people so rarely use their directional signals.

--Why cops stop the least speedy speeder in a line of cars breaking the speed limit.

 

--How competing gas stations know the exact moment to all raise prices at the same millisecond but not lower them in lockstep.

 

I Don’t Understand...

--Why $50 “flip phones” make better sounding calls in more places than $1200 iPhones and Androids.

OR

--The point of 5G “service.”

--Why phone companies bother timing calls when a rate plan includes “unlimited” calling.

 

I Don’t Understand...

--Why you’ve read this post this far down.
